"The Wyomissing Foundaton is a private Foundation established in Berks County, Pennsylvania and formed for the promotion of such charitable, scientific, literary and educational activities as the Trustees of the Foundation in their discretion may select."

The Board of Trustees of the Wyomissing Foundation appreciates the wisdom of the Foundation's Founder and continues the Foundation's focus on the following values:

• We use our vision, leadership and resources to improve the quality of life by addressing critical needs of communities.
• We are pro-active in our grant making and invest in strengthening organization infrastructure in order that the organizations may sustain themselves with out Wyomissing Foundation ongoing support
• We seek out organizations or individuals who have the vision to change critical issues of communities
• Our support can be both in the form of a financial and/or leadership commitment to serve as a catalyst to mobilize others to invest in critical communities issues
• We expect our grants to provide measurable impacts to critical issues of communities
• We are involved and participate with our communities organizations that address a broad spectrum of issues all which have the focus of improving the quality of life through any of the ways voiced by the Founder
• Our grants have often been the impetus to the development of key community initiatives or the resolution of critical emerging community problems
